I’d like to tell you a story…

Yesterday I saw a guy walk into Primark, buy a pair of £4.00 shoes, take off the ones he was wearing and throw them away. I kid you not. The Council Bin Dude emptied the bin about 5 mins after and saw the shoes. He stood there for a second and shook his head. 

Society is wasting clothes at an alarming rate because we pay less and less for them.

Paying less = less perceived value = more waste

So in my effort to encourage people to not waste good high heels, I’ve built myself a website so you can repair them yourself. All you need is a hammer and some pliers.

Y’know when you’re walking down the street and all you can hear is someone with worn down heel tips? They love those shoes enough to wear them but not enough to repair them. Don’t be one of those people.

I’m not just talking about those £60 leather pumps you have for work, I’m talking about those sparkly £10 ones from that indie shop too. Repairing something you love is good karma.

Repairing your own shoes is a frugal (something we all love right now!) but more importantly, it saves wasting perfectly good shoes. ‘Throw away fashion’ isn’t the answer. 

So, my heel tips start at £1.50 with 99p shipping (less than half price than at the Cobblers) and a steal if you count the time and money it takes to..

1. Go into town with your high heels
2. Wait for them to be fixed
3. Pay for that Latte while you wait
4. Forgetting to pick them up
5. Go back into town…
6. … you get the picture!

PLUS you can get them faster than waiting until the weekend to go to the Cobblers too!

In fact, don’t just buy 1, fix them all in one go. Imagine all your high heels being fixed and available to wear whenever you fancy.
